A promise made must be kept. Meet Natalie, 13 year old pie maker extrodinaire.

If you haven’t noticed we have been a little weak content wise for the past few weeks. Excuses abound but the facts remain, personal injury and a family emergency derailed the SoupAday train. The long of the short is no-one died but it was close. During the down time John has been editing his brains out on our next video and fixing some flaws I created when attempting to install a spam filter. The spam filter by the way did a fantastic job of blocking all comments except the spam….I am GOOD. If you are one of the millions who tried to leave a comment but couldn’t now you know why.

One of the highlights for me recently was visiting an old friend. Without boring everyone to death with detail let it suffice that I love this guy and had a most excellent time hanging out with his wonderfully eclectic mix of friends and my cousin Rob who joined me for the trek. What an incredible group of people who welcomed perfect strangers with such open hearts and arms, we were honored and it was very much appreciated. An added surprise bonus was seeing my friends beautiful wife again who totally rocks his world and came home early from a family vacation just to see me. That last part is a lie, I think she missed her husband and was afraid he would burn down the house or something. It was great to see her nonetheless, she’s an amazing women who I have nothing but the greatest respect for.

I did make a promise to a very kind, sweet and beautiful teen named Natalie. She so impressed me I was compelled to promise her I would post a picture of her with the homemade pies she made from scratch for my buddy’s friend Bill’s 50th birthday party that my cousin and I were allowed to crash while visiting. Not only did she nail the pies to the point that Martha Stewart would be proud but she served them to everyone with such a huge, sweet, genuine smile it warmed my heart. I don’t think Martha could do that even if she got back her insider trading stocks. Your a great kid Natalie….you should be proud.

A cream of tomato basil is coming up next so please check back in a few day’s. Hopefully the video will be completed soon, personally I cannot wait to see what John has created.

Ovvverrrrr Nnnn out!
