SoupA-Tough Start

I have to admit… I knew up front that eating right and beginning a new workout regimen would not be easy; I knew it would be a tough, but let me tell you… 5 minutes into the incline treadmill I realized, Wow… this is going to be SoupAtough!

I’ve been down this road before; but just like my soupA-blogging vegetarian counterpart, I am quickly realizing that as I get older, it seems to get harder each time I try. Why is it that simply starting is always the hardest part? Perhaps this is because somewhere trapped deep in our subconscious, we remember that last time we did this… it was HARD AS HELL!

In any case, there’s no stopping me now. I am not looking back… and whenever I feel the notion to quit, I know that I’ll have my good friend Dick close-by, ready at a moments notice to peer-pressure me into submission! So until I feel less jiggle around the middle… it is fish, lean beef, pork and poultry, mixed with fresh veggies, lots of water, and 3-5 days a week of cardio and weights for me.

Dick, let me just say that I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you calling me out in front of all our viewers…

      I hate flipping quotes Bear, they make me cringe and feel queasy because John tortures me every freaking day with them. Since your my brother and I love you, I’ll let this one pass, just promise me you wont send any more OK? Thanks for the thought….
