Dick, you have unfortunately put me in the very uncomfortable position of making a choice between taste and relaxation, and… health.
What to do, what to do? I pondered this today very carefully while I was eating a cheeseburger for lunch, and then it hit me like a ton of fat! I cannot leave my long-time friend out in that cold lonely world of vegetarianism and the physical torture some refer to as ‘exercise’ all by himself! I decided right then and there in the middle of my cheeseburger that just as Dick coaxed me into making this crazy blog that eventually became SoupAday, he should have just as much influence over my abilty to get healthier against my will.
So that was that, as soon as I finished the last bite of that delicious cheeseburger (then later had a fairly unhealthy dinner) I decided that tomorrow, hook or crook, I’m jumping headfirst into the same empty pool that Dick jumped into. I am dusting off my workout clothes and hitting the gym in the morning! However, I will take a slightly different food path than my newly acquired vegetarian counterpart, going more the route of lower carb, high protein, meat and veggie mix as I feel this will work best with my new regimen. I suppose only time will tell if I’m right…
Thank you again ahead of time Dick, for once again forcing me to do something I thought might be a soupAwaste of time. So far you’re one for one, let’s see if you can go two for two!!
