Loving Hut Vegan Cusine, Naples Fl.

I am 5 day’s into the two month vegetarian experiment and totally not digging the withdrawals and cleansing process. John has no sympathy, he’s eating buffalo wings right now and cracking jokes about the runs. Pay backs are a bitch buddy! With nothing to look forward to but another 2 months of suffering coupled with a massive headache and a rumbling stomach, I figured why not give the “Loving Hut” (insert joke here) a shot, Naples only Vegan restaurant, the one I thought I would never go to. After entering and being seated, I explained my situation to a genuine sweet heart and requested something spicy that would satisfy the meat eater in me (insert joke 2), I was given “Dancing Mushrooms”(insert joke three). All humor aside, over three hours later and I am still full and completely satiated, halleluiah and Ha Ha John!

I was shocked at how much the soy slices resembled and tasted of beef, they were amazing! I did ask for something spicy and this was pretty sweet and mild but that’s nitpicking, I devoured my plate in minutes with no apology. My daughter had sushi, it was only so-so, the nori wasn’t very fresh and the rice was a bit dry but she really didn’t seem to mind. We had the chocolate cake for dessert, it was also a little dry but the flavor was great and the icing was light and flavorful, I assume some compromises need to be made for it to be healthy. I am dying to go back and that really say’s something….so does the fact that my seven year old daughter Chaise LOVED it ALL. I’m thinking about some Vietnamese noodles next time, hopefully they can make e’m spicy!

Ovvverrrrr Nnnn out!

I am really enjoying the theme/design of your weblog. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility problems? A few of my blog readers have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any ideas to help fix this issue?

We pay “Sri” in India when we get stumped. Look up his link on our “Sri’s Spicy Indian Sambar” recipe. He fixed all of our browser issues afford-ably and professionally.
